Glory To God In The Highest

We finally went to get our family Christmas pictures taken today.  Josiah did very well.  The rest of us made funny faces throughout the entire shoot.  At least we got one decent shot.  Surprisingly they should be here on the 22nd.  I was sure they wouldn’t be ready until after Christmas.
I love getting out at Christmas time.  Well, let me rephrase.  I love certain parts of being out and about during Christmas time.  Other parts like the traffic and long lines even when all you’re doing is buying your typical groceries I could do without.  But Christmas is an amazing opportunity for Christians to get out into the world and share Christ’s love.
When else can you hear music that glorifies God in a shopping mall?  No one will look at you twice if you say Merry Christmas to a stranger.  And it’s never easier to invite someone to church than when there will be a special Christmas program or dinner.  The possibilities for sharing the gospel during this time are endless.  Let’s get out there and let everyone know who it is we are celebrating!
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”
Luke 2:14
