It's A Matter Of Perspective

Photobucket

Look at my BIG baby!  He’s HUGE!  Or at least he appears to be when the picture is taken from the lowest possible spot.  If I stand and take the picture from my height he looks small.
Makes me wonder what perspective I use to see problems that come my way.  I don’t for one minute believe that I’ll live my life free from problems.  What I do is learn to see them from God’s powerful perspective instead of from my small one.
When viewed from below even the smallest things appear to be insurmountable, but when viewed from above they fail to compare to the greatness of our God.

I've told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I've conquered the world.
John 16:33

  5. Thanks for the reminder! I've been struggling to keep my eyes focused on Him and not on our circumstances for a little over a week. You're so right---everything else seems tiny when compared to God!

  6. perspective is everything really- you have to have your eyes open and actively looking to see God in EVERYTHING. I'm learning to really SEE Him in order to BE WITH Him throughout my day (when the kids are fighting - when the bills are due- when my body hurts) :)
